To share scientifically-based information that are relevant to the most common needs of the members in our community, and culturally relevant to our faiths and lifestyles. 

Our Goals
We want more of us in the community to:
1) Become informed and educated about the major health issues in our community.
2) Increase our levels of self-efficacy [1] or beliefs in our abilities to better manage our health.
3) Support each other for more empowerment [2] in reaching our highest levels of health potential.

Our Vision
Our anticipation is that:
1) At the individual and or collective level, we will influence our living, worship, social, learning, and working environments (e.g., access to healthy foods, less stressful working conditions, and available exercise facilities) [3].
2) More community members will be encouraged to get involved at the local, state, and federal government levels in shaping all policies (e.g., on Education, Health Care, Housing, Immigration, Social Security, and the Environment), and taking actions that affect our health [3].
