Some decisions are easier to make than others. Each one of us goes through this kind of experience more than once in life. However, it is a necessary process to go through that will get anyone from point A to point B or even Z. First, take some time to look at your goals in life. Reflect on how much effort you have been dedicating to Living Healthy –Your Way. Then compare your goals / dreams / aspirations / wishes with how you have been feeling about yourself and treating your mind and body.
Here are a few examples of comparisons you can draw between who you used to be and who you appear to be now: 1) I used to have time for Physical activity, but now I barely try to stay fit. 2) I used to nurture my body with the food that I like and keep me well and productive, but now I neglect feeding my body with quality nutrients. 3) I use to spend more time enjoying myself and worrying less, but now I do just the opposite? 4) I use to feed my soul to create inner and outer peace, but now I feel very much stressed out? As you are doing this exercise mentally or in writing, try to list the reasons why you have not been doing what you once used to do on a fairly regular basis or at least once or a couple of times in the past. For every reason you come up with, find at least one good reason to motivate you to start planning Living Healthy –Your Way. Examples for wanting now to start doing more physical activity might include feeling energized, losing unnecessary weight, relaxing, and setting good examples for the children, a spouse, or a friend.
